A Dublin hospital said last night it would not release documents, over which it is entitled to claim legal professional privilege, to the Lindsay tribunal.
The Adelaide and Meath Hospital, incorporating the National Children's Hospital, said it had made its decision at a board meeting last night.
The Joint Oireachtas Committee on Health and Children and the Irish Haemophilia Society had urged the hospital to release the documents. The Minister for Health and the Irish Medicines Board have waived privilege over their documentation and the board of St James's Hospital will decide on their papers next week.
