The funeral of a teenager killed following a hit-and-run incident in Dublin on Friday will take place this Thursday.
Conor Hickey (14) from St Attracta Road, Cabra, died on Saturday after being hit by a car at about 5.40pm the previous day.
His funeral mass will take place at 11am on Thursday in the Church of Christ the King in Cabra after which his remains will be removed to Glasnevin Cemetery.
Gardaí investigating his death gathered a large amount of CCTV footage in the hope of identifying the driver.
They have appealed to the public for information regarding a silver car involved in the fatal incident at the junction of St Eithne Road and Fassaugh Road.
