A jury at Dublin Circuit Criminal Court was told a man became agitated and abusive to gardai when they found heroin and £2,000 cash in the pockets of his tracksuit.

James Bowes (37), of River Valley, Leixlip, and formerly of Durrow Road, Crumlin, pleaded not guilty to having heroin for sale or supply on January 4th, 1999, at Clogher Road, Crumlin.

The trial continues before Judge Patrick McCartan.
