Tim Henman cruised to a fine straight-sets victory over home favourite Roger Federer in the final of the Davidoff Swiss Indoor event in Basel today.
Henman, who won the title three years ago, took his second tournament victory of the year _ he won in Copenhagen in February _ with a 6-3 6-4 6-2 triumph over Swiss star Federer.
Today's win gives the 27-year-old British number one hope of reaching the end-of-season Masters Cup in Sydney, although he still needs a good performance in the final event of the year, the Masters Series in Paris, to qualify.
