Mexico City - At least 14 people were killed and 12 injured after the Ahueheyo River burst its banks in central Mexico following torrential rains, officials said.

The heaviest rains in a century continued to wreak havoc across the country, with floods and mudslides reported in Mexico City and at least seven states.
