The extradition hearing in the case of Mr Brian Meehan (32), the Dublin man in custody in the Netherlands facing a charge of murdering Veronica Guerin, has been provisionally scheduled for November 25th next, Dutch authorities said.
The hearing will "probably" be on that date, a spokeswoman for the state prosecutor's office said, but the date had to be confirmed. She added that while such hearings were normally held in public, under Dutch law Mr Meehan could ask to have it held in camera. If he made such a request it would be acceded to, she said.
