Talking about breast cancer to a loved one
How to Talk to a Loved One with Breast Cancer is the theme of a public talk by Dr Jennifer Westrup at the Beacon Hospital in Sandyford, Dublin, tomorrow at 6.45pm.
Her address will be followed by a talk on breast cancer awareness by specialist nurse Marina Nolan.

Mental health initiatives in Kerry and online
Headstrong, the national centre for youth mental health, has launched a community mental health initiative in Co Kerry.
Jigsaw Kerry will work with 23 organisations across the county to enhance supports for young people’s mental health. See www.headstrong.ie.

Spanish workshop in self-awareness
Therapy is often most effective when conducted through the mother tongue of the client.
For this reason, native Spanish speakers living in Dublin may benefit most from Spanish shamanic healer Catalina Mari Cardona’s two-day self-awareness workshop in Cultivate, Andrew Street, Dublin, on October 31st and November 1st. Cost is €200.

A weekend of loving meditation
The Source of Happiness is the theme of a weekend of so-called loving kindness meditation in the Dzogchen Beara spiritual centre, Garranes, Allihies, west Cork from 10am on Saturday, October 24th to 1pm on Monday, October 26th.
