Mental Health Ireland will team up with choirs around Ireland next week to celebrate World Mental Health week through song. This is the second year that the therapeutic benefits of singing are highlighted through National Choral Singing Week. Formal performances are planned but local mental health associations are hoping to expand the group-singing experience to singalongs in workplaces, daycare centres, schools and shopping centres.
