Dental warning: The Irish Dental Association (IDA) is hosting an event next month to highlight the importance of oral health.

The association says people with gum disease are at a greater risk of contracting heart disease. This is one of the key messages which will be discussed at the event in the RDS in Dublin on Thursday, April 27th. The seminar starts at 6pm and all are welcome.

Psoriasis meetings: The newly formed Meath branch of the Psoriasis Association of Ireland is holding its inaugural meeting tomorrow in the Emmet Tavern, Emmet Street, Trim at 8.30pm. Psoriasis is a chronic debilitating skin condition. It appears as raised patches which can bleed and crack.There is no cure but the condition can be treated successfully.
