Keep weekly weight trends in mind

If you are working to lose excess weight, you might be using a weighing scales to keep track of progress. Seeing the numbers dwindle on the scale as you approach your healthy target weight can be satisfying, and upward swings are less so.

Long-term habits may make more of a difference than short-term splurges.”
