Getting on board the TV series
The producers of the Baby On Board series on RTÉ television are currently seeking families to partake in a second series, due to be televised in June.
They are particularly interested in hearing from families with children aged up to five.
The issues will include birth practices, post-natal depression, allergies, work-life balance, father or grand- parent as a primary carer, the terrible twos, pre- school education, sibling rivalry and childcare.

Schools award entry deadline
The Active School Awards promote the importance of physical education, physical activity and sport and celebrate primary and secondary school teachers who provide leadership in this area.
The closing date for receipt of entries for this year's award is April 4th.

Talk about sex courses
Do you find it easy to talk to your children about sex? Do you know what your children are learning in the Social, Personal and Health Education (SPHE) programme in primary schools? The National Parents Council (Primary) provide short courses (six two-and-a-half-hour classes or a two-day course) for parents.

What's on guide out now
The spring edition of Primary Times, a free what's on guide for parents, teachers and children is now available in primary schools and public libraries. The information can also be accessed on www.primarytimes.ie.
