Those with experience in administration, fund-raising and organisation are particularly needed as are those who want to give time to a good cause. Volunteers will be trained fully and can choose their own hours and location.

* The Tallaght Cancer Support Centre Group opens a new drop-in counselling and advice centre at The Priory Institute, Tallaght villagetomorrow.
Appearing at the opening at noon will be the new mayor of Tallaght, Caitriona Jones, Gay Mitchell, MEP and presidential candidate, county councillors, local business people and clergy.
