Chernobyl Children International's founder Adi Roche checks radiation levels at the edge of the exclusion zone for the Fukushima nuclear reactor in Minamisoma City, Japan. She has called for a winding down of all nuclear power plants, saying not even the highest of safety standards can guarantee the lives of people living close to the 400-plus installations worldwide. She is visiting Japan to raise awareness of conditions close to the exclusion zone there.
