Havel meets Czech leaders

Prague - President Vaclav Havel and leaders of the ruling centre-right coalition met yesterday to discuss forming a new government after the resignation of the Czech Prime Minister, Mr Vaclav Klaus, and his cabinet. Mr Havel, who said on Saturday the existing coalition should try to form a new government, met the leaders of the three parties at his residence west of Prague. Before the talks began, Klaus officially handed the resignation of the government to Havel.
