DART services to Greystones in Co Wicklow, which were to have begun this morning, have been postponed yet again, this time because of escalating industrial action at Irish Rail and Dublin Bus.
The news is the latest blow to commuters in Greystones who have been campaigning for the DART extension since the system was introduced.
Yesterday Irish Rail said plans for this morning's launch were abandoned as late as 3.00 p.m. yesterday after industrial action at the CIE group of companies spread to the DART.
