Greenpeace Ireland will meet its international directors today in an attempt to avert a closure threat. Greenpeace International wants to close the Irish branch because it is not financially self sufficient. The extraordinary general meeting of the Greenpeace Ireland board today will be attended by the international executive director, Mr Thilo Bode.
