Istanbul - The Greek Foreign Ministe, Mr George Papandreou, yesterday inspected earthquake relief supplies sent by his own country to Turkey's north-west, saying such co-operation between historical rivals reflected improving ties.
"A door of hope has been opened. This door should be kept open. I will do my duty in this respect. This co-operation gives hope for the time ahead," he told reporters after flying to the quake region by helicopter from Istanbul.
