A £400,000 Government grant to the charity, GOAL, will go to supply aid to famine victims in South Sudan and Sierra Leone and help those affected by Hurricane Mitch and the conflict in Angola.
Welcoming the grant, GOAL director Mr John O'Shea said the suffering of the poorest of the poor, especially in African countries, continued unabated.
