A German national yesterday admitted the rape of his nine-year-old stepdaughter in Dublin. The 54-year-old man was remanded in continuing custody to December 18th by Mr Justice O'Higgins at the Central Criminal Court.
The defendant pleaded guilty to one charge of raping the girl during June 1996 and one of sexually assaulting her in August 1995.
