Gardaí are seeking information about a weekend assault on a Swedish man in New Ross, Co Wexford.
The man (31) is in a critical condition on a life-support machine at Wexford General hospital.
He was admitted to hospital after he was found lying unconscious outside a pub on Mary Street at about 1 a.m. yesterday.
No arrests have been made.
