A man (26) was seriously injured in an assault in the Walkinstown area of Dublin early today.
The man was beaten around the head in the attack on the Long Mile Road in Walkinstown shortly after midnight.He was taken to St James's Hospital, where he is said to be in a stable condition.
Gardaí are looking for one man in connection with the attack.
