Gardaí confirmed this evening they are treating the death of a 44-year-old woman whose body was found in a flat in Dublin today as suspicious.
Gardaí were called to the scene shortly after 3.00 after Fire Brigade Services found the body of a woman in a flat at Oliver Bound House, Dublin 8.
The woman's body was taken to the Dublin City Morgue where a post mortem examination is due to be carried out.
The scene has been preserved for technical examination.
