The mother of a toddler found in west Dublin yesterday has been located, gardaí confirmed.
The child, aged between two and three, was found by a member of the public outside Thornfield Square Apartments on Watery Lane, Clondalkin, Dublin 22, at about 10am.
He was taken into the care of the HSE.
Following an appeal by gardaí today, the mother of the child was located, a Garda statement said.
