Gardai attacked by youths

Seven youths were arrested in Ballyfermot, Dublin, on Thursday night after a crowd of about 40 people attacked Garda vehicles with bottles, rocks and fireworks. The disturbances occurred at Croft Park Road after gardai were called to deal with a group of youths firing fireworks near private homes. A patrol car was slightly damaged in the disturbances which occurred just before midnight. After the arrests were made the crowd dispersed.
