The new jury for the trial of a community garda accused of assaulting three protesters at the Reclaim the Streets demonstration will be sworn in next week.
Garda Donal Corcoran of Mountjoy Garda Station has pleaded not guilty to three counts of assault causing harm to two men and a woman at the May Day march Dame Street on May 6th, 2002.
The first jury was discharged yesterday by Judge Yvonne Murray following legal argument.
The new jury will be sworn in at Dublin Circuit Criminal Court on Monday, November 8th.
