A gang of thieves stole a quantity of cash in an armed hold-up on a post van in Co Meath this morning.
Four men wearing caps and scarves stopped the van at 9.15 a.m. near Wickers Cross, Navan, after jumping out of a grey or green Nissan Patrol four-wheel drive vehicle. One of the gang was armed, gardaí say.
There were no injuries reported in the robber. The Nissan left the scene and headed towards Wickers Cross.
