French unemployment in October is set to be broadly unchanged from September, when the jobless rate hit 8.8 per cent, Le Parisiennewspaper said today, ahead of the data's official publication.
Le Parisiensaid October figures should be close to the figures reported for September, when the number of unemployed in France stood at 2.395 million and the jobless rate fell to 8.8 per cent, a five-year low.
The Labour Ministry is to publish official October unemployment data tomorrow.
