Four members of Fatah, Palestinian leader Mr Yasser Arafat's party, were killed today in Nablus during an internal conflict.

Palestinian boys undergo training during a military-style summer camp in the West Bank village of Beita near Nablus. Palestinian youths took part in this ten-day programme organized by the Fatah movement where they learned shooting skills and some guerrilla warfare techniques.

Palestinian sources said the four belonged to two separate factions of Fatah and died in a gunfight outside the Rafidieh hospital.

Three other Palestinians were wounded in the clash.

The gunfight erupted from an old quarrel between the two factions, sources said. The nature of the quarrel was not immediately known.
