Four men are due in court in Britain today charged in connection with the murder of a motorcyclist shot dead on a busy motorway as he rode home from a biker festival, police said.

Mechanic Gerry Tobin (35), from London, was shot in the back of the head after leaving an annual biker event, the Bulldog Bash, in Warwickshire on August 12th.

Three men were charged on Friday with his murder. A fourth man was charged with firearms offences. Police have not named the men.

They are due to appear before magistrates in Nuneaton, Warwickshire.

Mr Tobin, who moved to England from Canada 10 years ago, was killed on the M40.

His mother, Maria, described him as the "most perfect light", saying: "Inside of me I feel a sorrow too big to endure."
