Tetovo - Former members of Macedonia's disbanded rebel army yesterday rejected President Boris Trajkovski's call for amnesty, threatening to take up arms if his offer was not soon put into law.
"Without a law, this amnesty is just talk, which does not give us a guarantee," a former rebel who gave his name as Ilir said.
Ethnic Albanian rebels of the National Liberation Army (NLA) formally disarmed to NATO troops in September.
