Football League chiefs meet over ITV Digital
Football League chiefs in Britain are meeting today to consider how to recoup television money owed by ailing ITV Digital.
A meeting between the League and representatives from 24 First Division clubs will outline the organisation's legal position.
They will consider action against the TV company as well as a possible settlement with ITV Digital.
ITV went into administration last week with £179 million owing from its contract.
Many First Division and lower league clubs face an uncertain future if the latest payout from the TV deal - due on August 1st - is not made. ITV Digital had agreed a £315 million three-year contract to cover Nationwide League and Worthington Cup matches.
