Dhaka - Up to three million people have been affected by floods in Bangladesh, with several rivers still rising including the Ganges.
"Up to three million people have been affected by the floods and two million of them were hard hit," Mr Bob McKerrow, of the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies, said in Dhaka.
