Five people remain custody today over separate shootings in Dublin yesterday that injured two men.
Four were arrested after an armed man entered the Fairview Inn in north Dublin and went to the beer garden at the back of the bar where he shot a 24-year-old in the back.
Gardaí made arrests in the area after the attack at 1.40am. The four are being held at Clontarf and Raheny Garda stations and can be held for 72 hours after the arrest.
The injured man was removed to the Mater hospital where he was placed in intensive care.
Elsewhere, gardaí in the west of the city arrested a man after a gun attack at a halting site at Labre Park, Kylemore Road, at 2am on Sunday.
A man (30) sustained injuries to the neck and face. He was brought to St James's Hospital, but it is understood he discharged himself a short time later.
A man was arrested on Sunday afternoon and is being held at Ballyfermot Garda station.
