GardaI investigating the murder of Mr Joseph Vickers (43), who was beaten to death at Greystones, Co Wicklow, on December 13th, are to send a file to the Director of Public Prosecutions following the detention of nine people yesterday. Four men and five women, all from the Bray area, held at Bray and Greystones Garda Stations, were released last night after the maximum detention period of 12 hours. Mr Vickers had lived in a caravan on Greystones north beach for the previous two months. Gardai say he had a history of drug offences.
