Festival of Kerry Belfast trip cancelled

As a mark of respect to the families and friends of the people who died in Omagh, the Festival of Kerry has cancelled a planned trip to Belfast tomorrow by the 1998 Roses. The president of the festival, Mr Seamus O'Halloran, who is from Belfast, said it would be "inappropriate for the event to take place in this time of sorrow." The 31 Roses arrive in Dublin today.
