THE sister of a woman who died's in hospital following spinal surgery said the family still wanted answers to their questions.

Ms Katherine Dunne said that following the inquest into the death of her sister, Mrs Mary Doyle the family would be seeking legal advice.

At yesterday's resumed inquest in the Dublin City Coroner's Court a jury recorded a verdict of misadventure.

The hearing was told that 42 year old Mrs Doyle of Blanchfield Park, Clifden, Co Kilkenny, died in October 1994, at the Adelaide Hospital, Dublin, three hours after surgery to correct spinal problems.

After the inquest her sister said the family still wanted answers to their questions. "We are very, angry . . . We intend to press on until all the circumstances of her death have been explained."
