London - One of two former Conservative MPs expelled from the party for supporting a pro-European faction yesterday vowed to carry on being "a thorn in the flesh" of the party leader, Mr William Hague.
Sir Julian Critchley, former MP for Aldershot, and Mr Tim Rathbone, former MP for Lewes, have had their membership "cancelled", party sources said yesterday.
