A man who escaped while being escorted to Cork prison last week has been recaptured.
Niall Fitzpatrick, (33) of Mayfield, Cork city, was arrested this morning and returned to Cork Prison.
He escaped on January 8th after being charged at Macroom District Court with unlawfully using a stolen car.
