As part of its autumn Green Building events, the centre is offering a one-day course in low-cost design and construction, with the intriguing premise of helping you to build a home for less than €20,000. The course looks at simple house design and construction with an emphasis on using natural and recycled materials. End result? A home that is affordable, pleasant to live in, and should have the lowest possible environmental impact. This one-day course takes place on Sunday, November 8th, from 10am to 5pm and costs €95.
