An increase in fares on the cross-Border Enterprise train service will come into effect from next Monday. A new day return fare will be £19, an increase of £2. A period return, valid for a month, will cost £29, up £3. A First Plus monthly return will increase £5 to £50.
The increases are the first since the service was introduced in September 1997.
