Eircell Vodafone will invest over £3 million in its new retail chain called Eircell Retail which will result from the integration of its four existing retail operations.
The new retail company will comprise of 80 retail outlets nationwide, which employ 300 staff.
Eircell said a phased approach to the integration of these companies will be adopted, beginning with the merger of the two largest chains Lets Talk Phones and Person 2 Person.
Mr Don Maher, previously a director of Lets Talk Phones, has been appointed managing director of Eircell Retail.
The integration programme sees the re-branding of the Person 2 Person stores to Lets Talk Phones by Christmas, at a rate of five stores per week.
A selection of flagship stores will be branded Vodafone Stores in the New Year when the Eircell Group adopts the Vodafone brand, the company said.
