Entries for the Life in a Viking Village competition run by Dublin's Viking Adventure and Statoil must be completed by February 25th.
The competition invites students to bring to life Viking Dublin by submitting their own poems, pictures, and letters highlighting the contributions Vikings made to Dublin's development a millennium ago. Entry forms and competition details have been sent to all primary and post-primary schools in the 32 counties.
There are two primary school categories and one for secondary schools up to third year. Winners will receive £1,000 in An Post savings certificates.
