Trinity's second "Multi-Cultural Week" kicked off in more ways than one yesterday with a soccer match in College Park between the students' union and the Buttery bar. A portion of bar proceeds after the game went to the Iraqi children's hospital fund.
The main event of the week, however, will be the college's third international food festival. This takes place tomorrow in the refined (and distinctly monocultural) dining hall; 25 cuisines will be on trial for knockdown prices.
As part of the week, two students will from the University of Pristina in Kosovo will be flown over to see how a students' union works and be advised by Trinity News editor Eoghan Williams on how to set up an independent college paper.
