Self Help International, an Irish development agency specialising in long-term development projects in Africa, is offering teachers and students an opportunity to study and visit an African community as part of the Third World programme to help countries become more self-sufficient. Countries on the programme include Ethiopia, Eritrea, Malawi, Uganda and Kenya. The plan is to set up three-year visitation cycles, with 36 schools in each cycle. Self Help International has its headquarters in Hacketstown, Co Carlow. For further information contact Seamus Hayes at (0508) 71175 or (0508) 71292 or on info@selfhelpintl.ie
