Postgraduate Studies Information Week at UCC

School of E-Rock at the IADT

The School of E-Rock will run at the Dún Laoghaire Institute of Art, Design and (IADT) Technology on Tuesday, February 10th from 11am to 5pm. Participants will be able to compose songs on computer and have experience in setting up a public address system for music gigs, events, the theatre. A tour of IADT and advice on applying for the Bachelor of Engineering in Audio Visual Media Technology (CAO Code DL133) will also be given. NUI Galway Graduate Studies Fair

NUI Galway’s Graduate Studies Fair takes place today in Áras na Mac Léinn, from 1.30pm to 6pm. The event will showcase over 400 of NUI Galway’s full-time and part-time postgraduate programmes, including taught and research master’s, and doctoral research options.

Irish Centre for Talented Youth Essay Competition

The Irish Centre for Talented Youth at Dublin City University is running an essay competition open to all Irish primary and secondary school students aged from eight to 16. Students can enter a piece in creative writing, scientific or journalistic categories. Closing date for registration for entry is February 13th. HEA Colloquium

The HEA and the NQAI will co-host a Bologna Expert Colloquium on Supporting the Design of Discipline-Specific Learning Outcomes on Friday, February 6th 2009 at the Alexander Hotel, Dublin 2 in conjunction with the university sector Framework Implementation Network.
