This week's case study looks at takeovers and managing change and will be of use to Leaving Cert business studies students and their teachers.

Lunchtime Lecture in the Hunt Museum Limerick

As part of the launch celebrations of the Royal Irish Academy’s Irish Historic Towns Atlas, No 21, Limerick, author Dr Eamon O’Flaherty will deliver a lecture entitled “Limerick’s urban development: from Viking to modern times” on Thursday, February 11th at 1pm. Admission is free and all are welcome.

Engineers’ Week 2010

Engineers’ Week 2010 is running until Saturday, February 13th. Engineers’ Week is a campaign held annually by Engineers Ireland to promote engineering as a career and the importance of the industry to Ireland and events are taking place nationwide.

The week comes to an end on Saturday with a family day in Engineers Ireland, Clyde Road, Dublin 4. For further information visit engineersweek.ie

GMIT Digital Media Open Day

Digital media students in GMIT are holding an open day on Monday, February 22nd. Students will display a number of digital media projects they have developed as part of their BSc in Digital Media and Business Computing.
