ECO-UNESCO AWARDS:The submission deadline for Eco-Unesco's Young Environmentalist Awards is Friday February 26th. The awards encourage students to carry out an environmental project in their local area. Regional showcases will be held in March, with the final showcase and ceremony in May.

YOUNG SOCIAL INNOVATORS
Entries are being received for the Irish Times/ Young Social Innovators competition, which aims to find a young social affairs correspondent and a young press photographer. Social affairs correspondents can write about any social affairs issue in their community, report on the YSI Speak Out Forum, or write about their own YSI project. Or, capture the idea on film!
