OVER 30 companies are expected to attend this month's careers fair organised by AIESEC Ireland, the international largest student association.

Among the firms in attendance will be AIB, British Steel, BT, Midland Bank, Standard Life, Procter & Gamble, Intel Ireland, Avonmore Foods, Bass, Coca Cola Bottlers Ireland, Goldman Sachs and Marks and Spencer (UK).

AIESEC's aim is to promote opportunities for employment for recent graduates and those intending to graduate this year. The participating employers will each have a stand and representatives will be available to those attending in order to discuss recruitment plans. As the Milk Round becomes increasingly restricted, the opportunity offered by the fair to meet potential employers on an informal basis should not be missed.

The fair takes place on Thursday October 24th from 10.00 a.m. in the Gleeson Hall of DIT Kevin Street in Dublin. The fair runs until 5.00 p.m, at which point a number of companies will give individual presentations. Entry is free.
