The 11th annual INTO education conference will be held this Friday and Saturday in the Everglades Hotel, Derry. Over 300 teachers are expected to attend this year. They will examine existing structures and make proposals for change. This year two policy documents published by the INTO will be discussed by delegates. They deal with increasing parental involvement in Irish schools and in other countries over the past 25 years and issues to do with different forms of assessment at school.
