Gaelic Games commentator Micheal O Muircheartaigh will visit NUI Galway's Political Discussion Society tomorrow night. The society expects "an exuberant and expectant crowd" for this "cultural icon".

The rival NUIG Literary and Debating Society will host a debate on legalising abortion on Thursday evening, with guests from the Irish Family Planning Association, the Christian Solidarity Party, the Pro-Life Campaign and the faculty of law at UL.
